What is the photography club?
- This is an online photography club that is geared towards being accessible for all types of learners aged from 10 to 15 years.
- Groups are small, calm and gently paced.
- There will be a recording of the lesson available to watch afterwards.
- During each online photography session we will practice different techniques of photography.
- Lessons cost £9 each and are typically sold in half-term blocks of five lessons for £45.
- Children who start learning in the photography club often progress to Arts Award or GCSE.
What is the next intake date for the club?
- Learners can join the photography club at the start of each half-term (November 2025, January 2026, February 2026 etc).
- You can reserve a place on the next course which starts on Wednesday 22nd April 2026 now: Online Young Photographers Club For Neurodiverse (aged 10 to 15 yrs) – Weds 11am (starts April 2026)
- Lessons are on Wednesdays at 11am.
- Recordings are also available for this course, if your child prefers to learn in a setting without other learners.
- Recordings can be accessed at any time – please email me at donna@donnasphotographyandfilm.com for more information.
What equipment will my child require?
- For these online lessons I would like you to have:
- A camera or phone which you can use to take photos.
- A separate device with a camera and microphone so we can see and talk to each other in the zoom lesson (for example, a laptop).
- I will email you a couple of days before the lesson to tell you what the lesson will be about and what additional props I want you to have ready – if any.
